SAP TERP10 Workshop
The College of Business’s SAP University Alliance Program will offer the fourth SAP certification workshop to undergraduate, graduate students, and NIU alumni in summer 2018. The SAP Certification is titled TERP10, Business Process Integration with SAP ERP (SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 7). The workshop will provide intensive training to prepare students to become a SAP Certified Business Associate. As a student or recent NIU graduate, you may apply to enroll in it. The workshop is offered at a significantly reduced fee due to NIU’s membership in the SAP University Alliance.
Thirty-three (33) students took the certification exam and 23 students passed the test during the very first summer 2015 SAP TERP10 workshop which had a 70% pass rate. The second workshop offered in summer 2016, fifty-three (53) students took the certification exam and 47 students passed the test which resulted a solid 89% pass rate. According to the SAP University Alliances Program, the typical pass rate for the exam is 65% before 2016. Since then, the passing score was raised by the SAP in 2017. 65 students took the SAP TERP10 Certification Exam and 40 passed the test which resulted in a 62% pass rate for the third SAP summer workshop in May 2017.
Schedule and Cost
Date: 10 day workshop from May 14 to 25, 2018
Time: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
one-hour lunch break at noon and students are responsible for their own lunch.
Location: Barsema Hall 300, College of Business
Workshop Price: $1,195 (cost covers professional instruction and training materials)
The standard market price is $6,750. NIU is able to significantly reduce the cost due to its membership in the SAP University Alliances Program.
Exam Fee: $290 to be paid directly to SAP during the first four days of the workshop. Your instructor will help you with this during the first day of the workshop.
Prerequisites for the Workshop
NIU students or alumni must successfully complete either OMIS 455 or OMIS 643 with a grade of C or higher, or have a minimum of one year SAP ERP related experience prior to enrolling in the workshop.
