NIU Business Scholarships
William & Eileen Breitzke
William “Bill” Breitzke received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from NIU in 1964. He later returned to NIU to complete his Master’s Degree in Education in 1969. He taught business marketing and cooperative education at Maine West High School for 27 years.
Eileen Breitzke received her two year certificate from McHenry College. She has two children who are teachers. Both Bill and Eileen feel very strongly about providing people with an opportunity to have a high quality, affordable education.
It is because of their desire that they have created three endowments in Business at Northern Illinois University. They want to ensure their scholarships are awarded to students who often fall through the cracks when seeking financial aid, i.e., their parents may make enough money so they are not eligible for state or federal aid and other private scholarships.
Bill and Eileen are hopeful the recipients of their scholarship awards will be appreciative of their scholarship and send a brief acknowledgement letter.
