Accelerated B.S. in Finance/M.S. in Finance

Senior finance majors at NIU can accelerate their path to an M.S. in Finance by taking graduate-level courses during their senior year—earning credit toward both degrees while paying the undergraduate rate. This approach cuts both time and cost, with the option to finish the master’s just one semester after the bachelor’s. Remaining courses can be completed on your schedule, with no obligation to continue.

Eligibility

To qualify, you must have:

• Completed 90 semester hours (senior standing)
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Earned a B or better in FINA 320 and UBUS 223
• Participated in a departmental interview
